For the MAK Center and SCI-Arc’s vertical garden competition at the Schindler House, Juan Azulay and David Fletcher’s MAK T6 Vacant proposes a lightweight structural armature to support the growth of a strangler fig (F. petiolaris). Over time, the organic structure fuses with the framework, transforming the site and ultimately creating a new vacant lot capable of hosting a future Schindler House.
